Mind the Maze iOS App

This policy explains how the Mind the Maze iOS app collects, uses, and protects your information. We keep it straightforward and limit data to what the app needs to work.
Account & identity
You can sign in with Sign in with Apple and/or email. Your account details are stored with Firebase Authentication, and profile data (e.g. display name) is stored in Firestore under users/{userId}. We use this only to identify you and run your account.
Your photos and captures
Labyrinth photos and capture data (e.g. which station, when) are stored in Firebase Storage and Firestore. If you set a profile photo, that is stored in Firebase Storage as well. We do not use this content for advertising or any purpose other than running the app and showing your collection.
Location
Location is used only to show your position on the map and to help find nearby stations. We do not sell or share your location with third parties.
Camera and photo library
We ask for access to the camera and photo library only so you can take and upload labyrinth photos and save annotated images. We do not access your photos for any other reason.
Firebase & Google
The app uses Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage) from Google. Data is processed according to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not use your data for cross-app advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.
Analytics and crash reporting
If we use analytics or crash reporting (e.g. from Expo, Firebase, or similar tools), we use them only to understand how the app is used and to fix problems. We do not use this data to track you across other apps or sites.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account and associated data from within the app (e.g. account or settings). If that option is not available or you prefer not to use it, you can request deletion by contacting us (see below). We will remove your data within a reasonable time.
